What is FAST TYPE?
Fast Type allows "real-time" conversation. Fast Type also allows TTY users to interrupt one other which allows for more natural conversation.

This speed is 110 baud, more than twice the speed of baudot which is 45.5 baud.

Do we need get a cell phone?
If you wish to use TTY/TDD while on the road or about anywhere you go, we offer an optional built-in 2.5mm handset connector jack in our TTY/TDD. This also comes with 2.5mm connector cable, which will allows you to connect directly between the cell phone and the TTY/TDD for better connection. Q: When I use my Sidekick using Direct Connect with 2.5mm headset cable, it does not always work. Is there a special step by step to make
it work every time?
A. Yes, there is. First, plug your 2.5mm headset cable into Sidekick and wait for the white light in scroll button to flash. Then plug other end of 2.5mm cable into TDD with its power off and wait for the blue light in scroll button to flash. After that, you may turn your TDD on. You're ready to make phone call by dial a number from your Sidekick.

Q: How can I receive the incoming call with VRS (Video Relay Service)?
A. Here is the solution, CompuTTY Telephone Signaler 082 will work very well.

Shipping Restriction
Shipping costs for orders from CompuTTY.com depend upon the methods and options you choose.
If you choose to group items into as few shipments as possible, you'll be charged for one regular per-shipment fee, as well as a per-item fee for each item in that shipment.

If you choose to ship items as soon as they become available, we'll charge you full per-shipment fees for each shipment as well as a per-item fee for each item.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Returns Policy
You may return most items sold by CompuTTY.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
We'll also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error. Please note that we are unable to exchange items.

Refunds
We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.

If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the return shipping costs from your refund. If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund will be credited to your account for use on a future purchase. Please note, the original expiration date will still apply.
